Company Overview
SuperBox for TV is a premier authorized distributor of authentic SuperBox streaming media hardware across the United States and Canada. We specialize in supplying households with genuine, high-performance home entertainment devices—including the flagship SuperBox S6, S7, and S8 series—backed by verifiable serial numbers, official manufacturer warranties, and dedicated customer care.
As millions of North American households ditch overpriced cable subscriptions in favor of streaming media, consumer demand for reliable hardware has surged. However, driving profitable customer acquisition requires strategic paid acquisition channels capable of reaching both tech-enthusiast cord-cutters and older demographics seeking simplicity. We are seeking a data-driven, commercially astute E-commerce Media Buyer & Ads Specialist to take full command of our paid advertising engine, scale our direct-to-consumer revenues across Google Ads and Paid Social, and maintain healthy blended return on ad spend (ROAS).
Schedule & Working Arrangement
This is an autonomous remote position requiring close alignment with core US business hours:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Working Window: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (Flexible core overlap with US East Coast business hours)
You will report directly to the Head of E-commerce and collaborate closely with our Content Writers, Video Editors, and Web Developers. You will participate in weekly performance roundtables and lead campaign sprints while exercising complete tactical autonomy over daily bid adjustments, creative testing, and audience refinement.
Core Responsibilities
Rather than wasting ad budgets on vanity impressions or untargeted clicks, you will approach media buying as an exact revenue generation discipline across several key channels:
Google Ads Architecture & High-Intent Search Capture
You will architect, optimize, and scale our Google Ads ecosystem to capture both transactional shoppers and exploring cord-cutters. This includes managing granular Search campaigns that dominate high-intent keywords surrounding SuperBox models, authorized dealer queries, and competitor alternatives. You will scale Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, maintaining tight feed hygiene, segmenting asset groups by device generation, and setting strict negative keyword parameters to defend brand equity against unvetted third-party imitators. Furthermore, you will experiment with YouTube in-stream and Discovery campaigns to introduce SuperBox benefits visually to prospective cord-cutters.
Paid Social Scaling & Audience Retargeting
You will oversee our advertising presence across Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Ads. Understanding that hardware buying cycles require reassurance, you will design tiered funnel architectures that introduce the product to cold audiences, nurture warm prospects with customer testimonials and unboxing clips, and re-engage abandoned cart shoppers with dynamic product ads and time-sensitive guarantees. You will develop detailed demographic clusters targeting cable bill fatigue, sports enthusiasts, and senior-friendly tech segments across North America.
Creative Directing & Performance Iteration
Media buying in modern paid advertising requires deep creative synergy. You will actively collaborate with our in-house video creators and copywriters to direct winning ad hooks, visual angles, and promotional formats. You will run systematic A/B creative splits—testing user-generated content (UGC) angles, split-screen comparison videos, unboxing demonstrations, and price-saving value propositions. You will analyze ad retention graphs, thumb-stop ratios, and click-through metrics to rapidly retire losing creatives and iterate on winning visual themes.
Tracking Integrity, Attribution & Data Governance
You will maintain rigorous measurement hygiene across all marketing touchpoints. Working with our technical developers, you will monitor server-side tagging, Google Tag Manager event triggers, Meta Conversions API (CAPI), and GA4 purchase tracking to ensure conversions are accurately attributed despite browser privacy restrictions. You will continuously evaluate blended customer acquisition costs (CAC) against marketing efficiency ratios (MER), ensuring daily ad expenditure translates directly into clean storefront bottom-line profit.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
We are looking for a disciplined media buyer who combines deep statistical comfort with a keen eye for high-converting consumer electronics advertising.
Proven Direct-to-Consumer Track Record
Candidates must possess at least 3 years of hands-on media buying experience managing performance ad spend for direct-to-consumer e-commerce storefronts targeting North American consumers. You must possess a verified track record of profitably managing at least $40,000 to $100,000+ in monthly ad budget across Google Ads and Meta platforms, with concrete experience elevating physical product sales in consumer tech, home electronics, or gadget niches.
Platform Competency & Attribution Fluency
You must demonstrate master-level proficiency inside Google Ads Manager (Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Merchant Center) and Meta Ads Manager. Practical experience operating TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or Microsoft Advertising is highly advantageous. You must be thoroughly grounded in modern e-commerce analytics, displaying intuitive familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, post-iOS attribution modeling, and third-party tracking suites such as Triple Whale or Northbeam.
Commercial Instinct & Creative Collaboration
You possess a natural grasp of direct-response psychology and understand what makes everyday American consumers click and convert. You know how to translate hardware specifications into high-impact visual hooks, communicate design briefs clearly to creative partners, and remain calm and decisive during volatile algorithmic auction shifts or Q4 peak holiday shopping windows.
Home Office & Technical Requirements
To ensure uninterrupted campaign monitoring and high-volume data analysis:
- Hardware & Workstation: A dependable desktop or laptop running Windows 10/11 or macOS with at least 16 GB of RAM, capable of managing heavy multi-tab browser consoles, real-time analytics dashboards, and video asset previews without lag.
- Internet Connection: A secure, high-speed internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload to support cloud dashboard manipulation and video sync calls.
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, Google Sheets (advanced formulas/pivot analysis), and project management platforms such as Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.
Compensation, Autonomy & Performance Incentives
- Competitive Base Pay: An attractive salary or hourly contract rate ($65,000 to $85,000 annually or $32.00 to $42.00 per hour), distributed bi-weekly, commensurate with verified media buying performance.
- Performance Profit Bonuses: Monthly and quarterly bonus incentives directly linked to achieving profitable ROAS thresholds and scaling net e-commerce revenue.
- Campaign Autonomy: You will hold primary strategic authority over bidding models, ad spend allocations, and experimental marketing tests.
- Hardware Allowance: A complimentary flagship SuperBox unit (S7/S8) is provided upon hire so you can personally test features, understand user onboarding, and conceptualize authentic ad angles.
- Tooling & Software Budget: Full access to enterprise ad tracking software, creative spy tools, and performance analytics dashboards.
